OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF CLUTCH CONTROL SYSTEM

Operating principle of clutch control system
When the clutch pedal and then the master cylinder are depressed, the boosting fluid will come from the
master cylinder to the booster via pipe. Then the air intake valve in the booster opens as the pedal stroke
increases, the piston is driven by the compressed air from the air reservoir, and the clutch release fork
arm is driven by the push rod. Thus the clutch is disengaged.
When the clutch pedal is released, the oil pressure of booster will decrease, the air intake valve will close
with the help of return spring and air pressure, and then the compressed air will discharge from the
booster to the atmosphere. Under the action of return spring, the booster piston returns, engaging the
clutch.
